1A: Timeshift
Episode 1 - Episode 2 - Episode 3 - Episode 4 - Episode 5 - Episode 6
Writer: Matthew Kurth
Script Editor: Gershon Alcantara, Jr.
Designer: Amanda Leahy (1,2,6)
Designer: Ken Boyer (3)
Designer: Matt Groening (4,5)
Producer: Dave Gonet
Director: Angie Systma
Synopsis:
The Captain goes on a routine mission for the Celestial Intervention Agency only to stumble into another dimension, and must search for a way to get home.
Notes:
"Timeshift" began with a regeneration. Or rather, it ended with one. And a different title. "Timeslip" entered into existence with the end of what was projected to be a 7 episode adventure, with the Captain visiting the characters from Back to the Future, Tiny Toon Adventures, The Simpsons, Tale Spin, and Transformers, and then regenerating at the end of the story. After finishing the regeneration sequence, work began on episodes 1-3, from the beginning of the story through to the Captain's time spent in Acme Acres, followed by episode 4 involving the characters from The Simpsons. Parts 5 and 6 were created, dealing with the characters from Transformers and Tale Spin. "Timeslip" was then changed to "Timelines", to distance it from the British show of that name. The decision was made not to have the Captain regenerate, and so episodes 6 and 7 were re-written. Shortly after rewrite, episodes 5 and 6 were discarded due to scripting problems, and episode 4 was deemed inappropriate. Part 4 was subsequently re-written across two episodes, bringing "Timeshift" to its present state and title.

Synopsis:
The Second Captain finds that a would-be enemy seeks revenge for an encounter with him in the past, wrong, and will go to any means to do it. This episode marks the end of the Captain's second incarnation.

Synopsis:
The Captain returns to his home dimension, only to find a less-than-warm welcome waiting for him on Gallifrey.
Notes:

Notes:
Serial 1M began with a fit of sudden inspiration which produced the first nightmare sequence. The story was originally intended to feature the return of Space Ace (last seen in Serial 1B at the time) until it was decided to use him in the umbrella story "The Three Captains". At that point, early work on Serial 1P, "The Evil of the Duquoin" was merged into the storyline, leading to a mammoth 9 episode length for the finished product. Original drafts of 1P have the story ending with the death of Lisa's brother Bart, which was later changed with the introduction of a new companion known as "The Chief". This is the last story to feature Lisa as a regular member of the TARDIS crew.

1Q: The Three Captains
Writer: Matthew Kurth
Producer: Kristin Partlo
Synopsis:
Intervention in an alien culture can cause far-reaching effects, a lesson which the Captain learns - the hard way.
Notes:
Serial 1Q is assigned as a blanket identification for the umbrella theme known as the Space Ace trilogy, chronicling how the first Captain meets him, how it changes both their lives, and how he returns. As such, Serial 1Q refers collectively to Serial 1S, Serial 1B, and Serial 1T as a single 9-part story.
